Dogs NSW - Promoting responsible dog ownership!

05 December 2007 Penrith Kennel and Obedience Christmas Party and Presentations.

It was a fun evening for all and I managed to photograph some of our members competing in musical chairs, balancing books and egg and spoon races and many of our end of year presentations. Virginia was did a great job making the presentations and was helped by some  of our other members in running the games.

The weather was good to us after a couple of weeks of storms and lots of rain here. Many members may have stayed away on this night.

We finished with refreshments and snacks even with dog treats for the fourlegged members that made the event for what it was really about.

My thanks to everyone for letting me get these shots which I hope you enjoy and wish a Merry Christmas and successful New Year.

Chris Pearson.

Perpetual Tropy Winner for 2007

I was thrilled to find that Barney had the highest average score formally registered with the club this year which he achieved in the Novice ring thus winning the Perpetual trophy.  It is the first time that this has been run and I encourage all members to put in their scores and go for this trophy next year.  Thanks to Penrith Kennel and Obedience Club and the Mayor of Penrith for making this trophy available.

(PS Being the photographer I don't appear in this website in person
normally, so these last two shots taken by Karen are unusual)
