Dogs NSW - Promoting responsible dog ownership!

19 April 2009 Penrith Kennel and Obedience Club Dogathon at Werrington.

The weather was good to us today giving us a nice dry walk and all went well as you can see in the photos below. The walk ended with the Sausage sizzle put on by Wil Spek for which we thank. Also many thanks to Virginia Van Es who again organised us all and those that cleared away everything at the end of it all. All that remains now is to tally up the donations which in due course will be sent to Cancer Research ant Nepean Hospital and to Hoxton Park Animal Welfare on your behalf.

Assembing for 1km walk
Wendy Stagg took this photo whilst Barney and I lined up the contenders for the 1km walk for a group photo.

The line up for 1km
and here is the group photo with Tina trying to get Barney into the photo. Nice to have an obedient dog?

Start of 2.5km walk
Meanwhile the 2.5km contenders were on their way as Wendy's photo shows.

Barney's line up
Barney had to line up the 2.5km contenders as my photos show. Who needs a working dog????
Then it was just a matter of he and I keeping ahead of the walkers to get the pictures below......

This ended the first lap and some then went on for MORE!

Hope you all enjoyed the show.
